Abstract

This study investigates the impact of immigration policies on the well-being of refugees, focusing on how these policies shape their social, economic, and psychological experiences in host countries. By examining a range of immigration frameworks across different nations, the research highlights key factors that influence refugees' access to essential services, employment opportunities, and community support. The analysis combines qualitative interviews with quantitative surveys to capture the nuanced realities faced by refugees. Findings indicate that restrictive immigration policies often lead to heightened levels of stress, anxiety, and social isolation, undermining refugees' integration and well-being. In contrast, inclusive policies that facilitate access to education, healthcare, and legal support significantly enhance refugees' quality of life, enabling them to rebuild their lives and contribute positively to society. The research advocates for a comprehensive approach to immigration policy that prioritizes the human rights and well-being of refugees, emphasizing the need for collaboration among governments, NGOs, and local communities. This study serves as a critical resource for policymakers and stakeholders aiming to improve the living conditions of refugees and foster a more inclusive society.
